David's work installing laminate flooring throughout my flat was nothing short of phenomenal.
He was professional and friendly during the weeklong job, from expertly directing (and helping in) with the mammoth task of carrying 40+ boxes of flooring, underlay, trims and tools up four flights of stairs to taking care to lay the floor in a way that will make my upcoming kitchen renovation easier. He even took the time to plane and adjust a door that had never closed properly due the frame shifting out of alignment!
The floor itself is stunning, and all due to David's work. His suggested using a Quick-step laminate instead of the samples I originally procured was excellent and the result is both lovely to look at and durable. The prices for materials and labour were more than reasonable as well, especially considering the quality of the finished work.
Anyone looking for a new floor should simply hire David (and follow his advice!).

Your first meeting with David will leave you bewildered. What he doesn't know about wooden flooring is not worth a jot. When he finishes explaining some of the finer details your are left in no doubt exactly what is right for you.
On installation his attention to detail is second to none keeping you informed of the choices available to you in order to provide you with the flooring you desire. His easy going, friendly manner instills a confidence that you're going to get exactly what you wished for.
We had our hall and dining room floored and were so impressed with the outcome we replaced our year old lounge carpet a month later with the same engineered oak flooring.

I don't often write reviews online but I was so impressed by David's work I felt the need to do so.
From my very first meeting with David I found him to be very professional, helpful and knowledgeable on what was suitable for my flat. He helped me choose a suitable product for my flat. Having had laminate before I was unaware of the huge differences in quality and appearance and fitting. I'm delighted with the final outcome. His attention to detail and meticulous planning has resulted in a beautiful floor throughout my flat.
There is an advert on the radio at the moment comparing a reliable tradesmen to a hero, well on two occasions David certainly filled that role. I was undertaking major renovation work within my house, which included among other things the flooring and a new kitchen. The kitchen floor could not be laid until the kitchen was installed and when I was let down by the kitchen fitter, David offered to fit for me to allow him to get on with the floor. He did a wonderful job and I honestly believe the kitchen fitter would not have taken as much care or paid as much attention to detail as David did. He provided helpful advice and suggestions throughout the process. He also took into account the fact that I still had to use it while the work was ongoing and completed it in a timely fashion. Even other tradesmen who came in to do the plumbing and worktops commented on the high standard of fitting and finish.
On completion of the installation of the kitchen and flooring we were having a cuppa before he left when again he donned his hero role. I put the dishwasher on for the first time and all of sudden there was water pouring out of the cupboard under the sink. He sprang into action. He saved my kitchen and flooring from being destroyed. Thankfully the way he had attached the kickboards meant they came off easily allowing quick access to mop up the water and lift the floor-boards which had been affected and prevent them from any lasting damage.
He then came back to fix the work of the plumber by tightening up all the plumbing below the sink and relay the flooring at no extra cost to me. He did such a good job you would never know the near catastrophe ever took place.

During our recent and ongoing kitchen replacement David has been a stand-out example of the best in independent tradesmen. He began by visiting us at home after our telephone enquiry, and after inspecting our current flooring and conditions, and also taking great effort to understand the other works ongoing in the house from both a practical and design point of view, he spent time discussing with us the variety of options in wooden flooring available - solid wood engineered etc… and was clear to explain the up and down sides of each system. He brought a variety of wood samples with him to our home for us to view 'in the flesh' also. The entire visit was friendly, unpressured, and hugely informative.
After getting an understanding of our needs David put together a clear itemised quote broken down by room (we were having floor laid in two rooms) and sent this to us within 2 days. He understood the volume of work we were doing and was refreshingly flexible despite clearly being busy. He was also happy to give advice to us on order sizes/suppliers/costs if we had chosen to source the materials ourselves and have him simply fit. He kept us up to date on the delivery dates and brought the flooring to us to acclimatise weeks in advance of fit date
The whole installation process was seamless and pain free thanks to David's friendly, diligent, and proactive nature even in the face of mistakes and problems caused by other trades on site. He was available to provide phone advice on managing a central heating leak onto the new floor on a weekend night and came to the house on the Monday to assess the damage and arrange repair Even during discussion of issues unrelated to flooring, his background in design and long extensive experience in/with the building trade provided a valuable resource during a stressful few months.
